Put your old cell phone to work.

Do you want to help the environment while helping WQCS raise necessary funds? You can recycle your old working or non-working cellular phone and turn it into a donation for WQCS.  Depending on your type of cell phone, it will either be refurbished and resold, or recycled for its metal. This is a great way to help keep all of those heavy metals out of the landfills and reduce the need for further mining.  Used phones have a marketable value and are re-sold around the world!  100% of the net proceeds will be donated to WQCS!

Cell phone companies upgrade individual phones about every two years.  So, almost everyone has one or more old cell phones lying around the house.  There are thousands of old cell phones sitting around. Whether the old cell phone is in working condition or not, you can donate it to help fund the programming you enjoy on WQCS.

Ready to get started?  You can use your own box or envelope and print out a pre-paid shipping label below or call (772) 462-7813 to request a pre-paid recycling bag.  You can also pick up a pre-paid recycling bag at any Seacoast National Bank on the Treasure Coast.
