Stay fit at Big Red

This is Paul Janensch with a Treasure Coast Essay about Big Red.  That’s what people will be calling the new Indian River County Intergenerational, or IG, Recreation Center on Oslo Road at the South County Regional Park.  The main building is bright red.  Recently opened after long delays, the $12 million facility allows young and old to participate in hardwood-court basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, martial arts, performing arts and gaming tournaments.  Exercise programs include yoga, ti-chi and zumba.  Basketball camps and clinics are planned for the fall.  Rental space is available for competitive, educational and social functions.  So whatever generation you belong to, get off the couch and check out the Indian River County IG, or Big Red.  I’m Paul Janensch.
