Port St. Lucie-April 12, 2022: A 15 year old girl who was reported "missing and endangered" Monday morning was found safe Monday afternoon.
15 year old Saige Stiles was found by a member of the Florida's Treasure Coast Guardian Angels Chapter in the 100-BLK of SW Paar Drive in Port St. Lucie. A picture of the Guardian Angel member was posted on the Port Saint Lucie Police Department's Facebook page. He has been identified as Michael Lincoln-McCreight. He was in the area searching for her, along with police.
Saige was found to be in good health. She was taken in for questioning by PSL detectives Monday afternoon. It is not yet clear how she went missing.
On Monday morning, shortly before 6 am, the girl was walking to school in the area of SW Darwin Blvd/SW Belmont Circle. She was talking to a friend on her cell phone and told her friend that someone was following her. After the phone call, the friend called 911 out of concern for Saige's safety. The friend provided police with Saige's last known location. Officers went to the area and found Saige’s backpack and cell phone on the sidewalk in the Panther Trace Community on Tulip Blvd. They were not able to find Saige.
A search was launched, by PSL police and the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Helicopter was called in along with Okeechobee blood hounds. About 7:30 am Monday officers located a camera system in the area and Saige was seen on the video walking southbound behind houses in the Panther Trace Community. She did not appear to be in any immediate danger or distress at that time.
