St. Lucie County - Wednesday September 7, 2022: The Council of Social Agencies of St. Lucie County, Inc. (COSA) will host its annual Showcase of Services at the Port St. Lucie Community Center, 2195 SE Airoso Blvd. on Wednesday, September 21, from 9 am to 12-Noon.

The event will highlight the services provided by COSA’s 70 members. Attendees will learn about the different health and human services available in the community. This event is free and open to the public.

COSA members work together to break down the silos of services that often hold back the true potential to address the needs of our residents. The COSA framework supports non-traditional partnerships to address the often complex needs of those seeking assistance and to maximize local resources. COSA strives to educate and promote communication, collaboration, and cooperation to enhance service provision within our community ‘village.’

Member organizations provide services that address housing and homelessness, children and older adult needs, domestic violence, career-readiness and job placement, mental health and substance abuse, crisis assistance, disease prevention and treatment, legal and re-entry services, victim support and advocacy, support for those with disabilities, self-sufficiency resources, and others. Each registered agency will have a table with displays, information, and give-a-ways to increase your knowledge.
