Martin County - Friday October 7, 2022: The Indiantown Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has decided to commit 10% of this year’s rodeo profits to help with relief efforts after Hurricane Ian.

The Rodeo takes place Friday and Saturday October 14th and 15th at Timer Powers Park.

The Chamber reports that county farmers and ranchers have suffered livestock and crop losses from the devastating flooding caused by Ian.

In addition to the 10% commitment, the Chamber says it will place collection buckets out during the two day rodeo seeking contributions to provide relief to the farmers and ranchers.

The donations will be used to purchase recovery and relief materials which will be delivered to the Arcadia Stock Yard in support of the ongoing efforts of the Florida Cattlemen’s Association.

Anyone wishing to help can reach out directly to the Florida Cattlemen’s Association or contact the Indiantown Chamber at 16656 SW Warfield Blvd. in Indiantown. The office phone is 772-597-2184. The Chamber website is: www.indiantownchamber.com.
