One Appointed to the First Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission
Zachary “Zack” Smith - Zachary “Zack” Smith, of Pensacola, is a Legal Fellow with The Heritage Foundation. He received his bachelor’s, master’s, and law degrees from the University of Florida. Smith is appointed for a term ending July 1, 2026.
One Appointed to the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners
Roberto Gonzalez - Gonzalez, of Miami, is Owner and Managing Partner of the PereGonza Law Firm, in Miami, Florida. Gonzalez attended Miami Dade College, earned his bachelor’s degree in English Literature from St. Thomas University, and his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University Law School.
