State Officials Talk About Hepatitis A Concerns In Martin County

The investigation into the increasing number of cases of hepatitis A in our state got some attention from state and local officials Wednesday with a focus on Martin County where four people have died from the disease.  Florida’s newly appointed Surgeon General Dr. Scott Rivkees and Lt. Gov. Jeanette Nunez were in attendance.  Afterward at a press conference State Representative Toby Overdorf , State Representative Mary Lynn Magar and Senator Gayle Harrell talked about what occurred.
