Martin County Sheriff detectives have arrested 34-year old Keoki Hilo Demich and charged him with second degree murder in the death of 57-year old Cynthia Cole.

Detectives spent late Friday night and early Saturday morning digging in the back yard of Cole's Jensen Beach home. They recovered a body believed to be Cole's submerged in the contents of a septic tank about four feet underground.

Positive identification awaits an examination by the medical examiner’s office, however a news release from the Sheriff's office states that "detectives have every reason to believe (the body) is that of Ms. Cole."

Shortly after recovering the body, detectives located and arrested Demich who had previously worked as a handyman for Cole.
