Operation Green Light is an opportunity for residents to pay overdue court fees and fines, including traffic tickets, without having having to pay the late interest surcharge.

FORT PIERCE, FL.- March 28, 2022: The St. Lucie County Clerk's Office annual "Operation Green Light' is underway again this week. The program offers residents who qualify the chance to get their suspended driver license reinstated.

The program began today and runs through this Friday, April 1.

Operation Green Light is an opportunity for residents to pay overdue court fees and fines, including traffic tickets, without having having to pay the late interest surcharge.

“In 2021, we were able to recall hundreds of cases, helping over 900 St. Lucie residents get back on the road, to work, and better able to care for their loved ones,” said SLC Clerk Michelle Miller.

Operation Green Light daytime appointments can be booked online or by calling 772-462-6900. You can also book an evening appointment on Thursday March 31. When reserving an appointment you should have your driver license number, date of birth, and case number(s) on hand.
