The City of Port St. Lucie invites the public to gather in front of the MIDFLORIDA Event Center to reflect on the events of Sept. 11, 2001, and to remember and honor those who lost their lives.

Description
The ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, adjacent to the 9/11 monument in front of the MIDFLORIDA Event Center.
(Inclement weather will move the event inside).

The remembrance ceremony will include members of the community, local community pastors, and local representatives in Congress and the State House of Representatives.

Assisting in the ceremonies will be the St. Lucie County Fire District, Port St. Lucie Police Department, St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, St. Lucie Fire District Honor Guard Pipes and Drums Band and the Port St. Lucie Police Explorers.
