Fort Pierce - Friday April 29, 2022: This week on in Focus with IRSC Public Media we welcome Sean Sexton, Indian River County’s Poet Laureate and he is also a Board Member of the Laura Riding Jackson Foundation which is staging the 'Best of the West' poetry and Barbeque on Saturday May 14 on the Indian River State College Mueller campus in Vero Beach.
This is their 11th annual poetry and barbeque fest. It will feature 3 of the best contemporary western poets who will read some of their works. Its open to local poets as well. And later we’ll hear from Janeen Mason, the Curator of the Light House Art Center in Tequesta. It’s a not-for-profit art center whose mission is to engage the community through a vibrant school of art, unique exhibitions, and diverse special events.
