Fort Pierce - Friday June 17: This week on in Focus with IRSC Public Media we learn about a huge new development that’s planned in Martin County. It’s called ‘Newfield’. It's being built in Palm City between the Turnpike and I-95 on land that has been in the Kiplinger family for four-decades.

We’ll speak with Knight Kiplinger, the founder of the Kiplinger financial media empire. ‘Newfield’ is his vision. We'll also hear from the developer who will build Newfield, Dan Grosswald of Mattamy Homes, a company that specializes in the construction of traditional neighborhood developments.

Then we welcome Suzy Hutcheson, the CEO of ‘Helping People Succeed’, a non-profit that started out in the 1960s as an occupational center for the Handicapped. It now provides a wide range of social services throughout the treasure Coast for both children and adults. She tell us about the free services they provide and how those in need can benefit.
