Fort Pierce - Friday July 22, 2022: This week on In Focus with IRSC Public Media we welcome Madeleine Bozone Greenwood, the Executive Director of Family Promise and Cher Fisher the Marketing Director.

Family Promise is a non-profit in Martin County where property and rental prices have soared in recent years, driving many residents, employed in the service industry, out of their homes and out of the county. It's a serious problem and Family Promise is trying to address it by finding homes in the county for families made homeless by the high cost of housing.

Learn how you can help on their website at: https://www.mcfamilypromise.org/

And then we’ll hear from Teresa Bishop the Chief Executive Officer of the Roundtable of St. Lucie County, and Jovil Wharton the Project Coordinator for Drug Free St. Lucie, one of the programs in the Roundtable network.

The Roundtable brings together public and private leaders from throughout the county to address the challenging issues facing the community.
