Then our subject is the high cost of rents. Jon Leckie, a researcher with Rent.com who has analyzed rent data from the U.S. Department of Housing and found that rent prices in Florida have begun to ease. He’ll give us some insight into why they’ve surged so high in the past few years and what can be done to lower prices even more. However, he cautions we shouldn’t expect a return to pre-pandemic rent levels any time soon.
