Batman creator BOB KANE. In his autobiography, Batman & Me, KANE tells how he came up with the idea for the caped crusader, and what influence he had on the TV series and previous Batman movies. Kane drew Batman from its inception in 1939 to the late 60s. DC Comic still publishes Batman in a monthly and quarterly form. House Panel Votes To End Fannie, Freddie Bonuses
The House Financial Services Committee voted on Wednesday to suspend nearly $13 million in bonuses paid to executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The measure would also prohibit future bonuses. The Senate is expected to take up similar legislation.

Machine Evens Sushi-Making Playing Field
Japanese company Suzumo introduced what it calls a sushi robot at a food expo in Tokyo last week. The cutting-edge sushi-making machine is about 10 times quicker than the most productive sushi chef. No word yet on the price for the counter-top device which weighs about 20 pounds.
