The U.S. Postal Service is teaming up with online retail giant Amazon to deliver packages on Sundays. Residents of Los Angeles and New York can now take advantage of the additional delivery day at no extra charge. Amazon plans to expand Sunday delivery to more cities next year.

Kickstarter, the crowd-funding site that pairs indie-minded entrepreneurs with online investors, funded more than 18,000 projects in 2012, according to its end-of-year analysis. The site says more than 2.2 million people pledged nearly $320 million, with 17 projects raising more than $1 million.

Amazon workers in New York plan to take an initial step toward forming a union. Organizers say they have collected some 2,000 signatures for a union vote from warehouse workers on Staten Island.
