‘On Your Feet!’ comes to Florida

This is Paul Janensch with a Treasure Coast Essay about the upcoming national tour of “On Your Feet!”  That’s the highly successful Broadway show based on the music and life of Gloria and Emilio Estefan, who own the Costa d’Este Beach Resort in Vero Beach and have an oceanfront home nearby.  The show closes August 20 in New York after 34 months, then goes to 60 other cities.  The score consists of catchy Cuban-fusion tunes made famous by the husband-and-wife team.  They include “Get on Your Feet,” “Conga,” “1-2-3” and “Rhythm is Gonna Get You.”  It’s a flashy show but includes the bus crash that almost killed Gloria.  To find out when “On Your Feet!” comes to Miami, Orlando and Tampa, just put On Your Feet in a search box.  To order tickets, you don’t even have to get on your feet.  I’m Paul Janensch.
