Hurricane Harvey relief

This is Paul Janensch with a Treasure Coast Essay about disaster relief for Texas.  Hurricane Irma was gathering strength over the Atlantic when TCPalm.com told us about four men who went from Indian River County to help victims of Hurricane Harvey.  Brian Baker and Jay Needham, employees of the county’s Salvation Army, set up mobile units for medical professionals at the downtown Houston convention center.  Earlier, Baker coordinated the placement of mobile kitchens and canteens.  Volunteers Art Cimiunitsni and Mark Milia of the county’s American Red Cross drove an emergency truck to the disaster area.  The vehicle can take food to people displaced by a storm.  Hey, Texas.  Indian River County, Florida, says you’re welcome!  I’m Paul Janensch.
