Fort Pierce, Fl.-March 21, 2022: A $10,000 reward notice has been issued by authorities seeking any information that may lead to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for a drive-by shooting that injured 3 children in Fort Pierce on Friday afternoon. All 3 children are expected to survive according to the reward notice.
An active criminal investigation has been launched by Fort Pierce Police in conjunction with agents from the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Officers responded to the shooting at approximately 2:30 pm. It happened along the 3200 block of Avenue B. A dark-colored sedan, possibly a Toyota, was traveling southbound along N. 32nd Street when someone inside the vehicle opened fire on a northbound white 4-door Toyota that was occupied by 5 people. Three children in the white Toyota were shot and injured, according to Fort Pierce Police.
No arrests had been made as of Monday morning and the 3 injured children were continuing their recovery, said Fort Pierce police spokeswoman April Lee in a phone interview with WQCS. Two of the children were taken to St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach and the third was taken to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, she said.

Authorities have not released the ages of the injured or any descriptions of potential suspects, but they did release an image of the dark-colored suspect vehicle.
