Tamarcus Jaquan Knighton Arrested in Connection with Two Strong Arm Robberies

18 Year Old Knighton has been charged with two counts of Strong-Arm Robbery, along with two counts of Illegal Use of a 2-Way Device.

Port St. Lucie - Thursday May 19, 2022: Port St. Lucie Police detectives arrested 18 year old Tamarcus Jaquan Knighton on Thursday in connection with two strong arm robberies at two different day spa's in PSL earlier this month.

Knighton became a suspect after Port St. Lucie Detectives reviewed video surveillance footage from both incidents. Knighton was called in for an interview and "he confessed to both robberies," according to a post on the PSL Police Department Facebook page.

Knighton has been charged with two counts of Strong-Arm Robbery, along with two counts of Illegal Use of a 2-Way Device.

Two Different Strong Arm Robberies:

May 9: At approximately 1:52 p.m. an unknown suspect entered the Natural Spa & Massage located at 10513 SW Meeting St. in Port St. Lucie. The suspect inquired about services and then left the establishment. He then returned and entered the breakroom while the employees were busy assisting customers. He removed between $700-$1,000 from an employee’s purse and was confronted by an employee. The employees attempted to stop him; however, he pushed his way through and exited the business.

May 13: At approximately 11:45 a.m. a similar unknown suspect entered Peacock Day Spa located at 270 NW St. Lucie West Blvd. in Port St. Lucie and inquired about services. He then returned shortly after. While he was receiving a massage, he asked to use the bathroom. He entered the employee breakroom and removed an employee’s purse. A struggle ensued and the suspect exited the business and fled with the victim’s purse.
