Martin County Supervisor of Elections Vicki Davis - Know Where Your Assigned Precinct is Located

Davis says turnout so far has been about average for a primary election.

Martin County - Monday August 22, 2022: Early voting ended Saturday and all mail in ballots have to be in by 7 pm Tuesday night, so if you haven’t mailed it yet, it’s too late now, but it’s not too late to vote in person. The polls open at 7 am Tuesday, the last chance for registered voters to cast their ballots for local and statewide candidates in the 2022 Florida Primary.

“Voters should know where their assigned precinct is located," said Martin County Election Supervisor Viki Davis. "According to Florida law, for election day, voters have to go cast their votes at their assigned precinct. They can locate their assigned precinct by visiting Martin Votes.gov.”

As of mid-day Monday about four-thousand eight-hundred early votes have been cast and fourteen-thousand mail in ballots have been received is this heavily republican county where registered GOP voters outnumber democrats buy about two-to-one.

“Its about 50% of what we’re predicting for our total turnout for this election," said Davis. "So, we are expecting about twenty to twenty-two thousand voters to turn out at their precincts. Davis says turnout so far has been about average for a primary election.

Polls in Martin County are open from 7 am until 7 pm Tuesday. Remember to bring your photo ID. Results should be available by 8 pm Tuesday night.
