Okeechobee County - Tuesday June 21, 2022: Members of the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Task Force and the County's Special Response Team (S.R.T.) arrested 6 people on weapon and drug charges.
Last Friday, June 17, Deputies executed a probable cause narcotics search warrant at 3283 S.W. 22ND Street in Okeechobee. Methamphetamine, ammunition, and drug paraphernalia were recovered during the search and six people were arrested, "some of whom you will recognize from previous arrests," states the Sheriff's Facebook post.
The individuals taken into custody at the residence have been identified as Richard Anthony Bonnell, David Allen Lewis, Loren Johnston, Monique Rumsley, Karlie Lacey, and Kimberly Stein.
*Monique Rumsley was arrested on allegations of selling methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
*Richard Anthony Bonnell, David Allen Lewis, and Karlie Lacey were was arrested on allegations of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
In addition Bonnell was arrested on allegations of possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.
*Loren Johnston was arrested on allegations of possession of drug paraphernalia.
