Martin County - Monday January 30, 2023: The Martin County School District's (MCSD) Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Program (VPK) will begin accepting applications for the 2023-2024 school year on February 7, 2023. The program is available at select District-operated schools with limited enrollment.
VPK is an early learning program that provides developmentally appropriate instruction and activities to prepare four-year-olds for kindergarten and beyond by building a solid foundation for school success. To be eligible, children must be four years of age on or before September 1, 2023, and reside within an eligible school attendance zone.
The three-hour VPK program is provided at no cost to parents. In addition, a full school day (wraparound) program is also available for a monthly cost of $270.00* (*subject to change.)
Parents/caregivers may apply for one of the District's VPK seats during open enrollment. The open enrollment will occur in two phases beginning on February 7, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. Families may participate in the virtual open enrollment process using the appropriate link below:

Students zoned to attend SeaWind Elementary School are eligible to participate in the VPK program offered at Hobe Sound Elementary School. Students zoned to attend Pinewood or Port Salerno elementary schools may attend the VPK program offered at the Salerno Learning Center.
