Fort Pierce - Friday February 10, 2023: A 21 year old man was shot and killed in Fort Pierce late Thursday afternoon, a second 31-old was wounded in the same shooting.
A release from the Fort Pierce Police Department states that officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 600 block of Dundas Court around 5:09 p.m. Thursday.
When they arrived they found a 21-year-old Fort Pierce man who had "succumbed" to gunshot wounds. Soon after, a 31-year-old Palm Beach County man turned up at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Police say he was "another victim ...from the same shooting." The names of the shooting victims have not been released.
Police say other unknown individual(s) involved in the incident fled the scene in a gray or silver four door sedan. They are asking for the public's help in locating them.
