Welcome Fall with New Plants! The Annual Garden Club of Fort Pierce’s Mega Plant Sale is back and better than ever! The sale will feature an indoor “yard sale" and outdoor plant shop. The Garden Club has held a plant sale in the fall for many years, this year we will feature hundreds of young plants and flowers locally grown by our members. Plan on joining us for this once a year sale! The Mega Sale takes place at the Garden Center club house in beautiful Glidden Park located at the corner of South 10th Street and Georgia Avenue. It is Saturday, October 23rd and opens at 8 am. Most plants are affordably priced under $10. This is a great way for you to spruce up your gardens this year with locally grown plants. In addition to the plants there will be gently used items like gently used clothes, small furnishings, jewelry, decorations, and more can be found for sale inside the historic garden center club building located at 911 Parkway Drive. After you have shopped inside, step outside to our beautiful grounds and peruse the perennials, annuals, exotics, and houseplants for sale outside. The plants sold at our sale are from the gardens of our members and their families and friends. And we’re here to help answer your questions and to find the right plant for your garden site (sun, shade, color, height, size, soil conditions, or ease of growing). Monies raised support student scholarships and community projects. Plants for the Mega Sale are priced from $1 to $10 with a few exceptions. All marked at affordable prices.
