ROBERTA B. MARKS: ANTHOLOGY & FACULTY HOLIDAY EXHIBITION (Nov. 9 - Dec. 11, 2021) Opening night reception: Thursday, November 11, 4:30 - 6:30 pm at the Gallery Roberta B. Marks: Anthology (Spencer Gallery) Award-winning artist, Roberts B. Marks is widely collected and featured in numerous museums and galleries throughout the United States and Europe including the Smithsonian and Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Marks, a Key West resident since 1981, works in sculpture, mixed-media, painting, and collage. From the dusty corners of junk shops in Mambai, to flea markets in Marseilles, Marks collected cast-off items that resonate with meaning and history to create her signature “Construction Art.” The art narrates a story created by old suitcases, clocks, antique books, and pictures.
