VERDANT BODIES: A Contemporary Jewelry Exhibition at the Armory Art Center

Opening Reception: Friday, October 28, 2022, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

This exhibition will offer insight as to how makers of the art jewelry and metalsmithing field interpret their environments. Considerations of environment include, but are not limited to, physical “natural” or curated spaces, sociopolitical environments, and spaces within which various relationships occur. The intent of Verdant Bodies is to raise topics such as ecology, evolution, species relationships, botanical, and cultural implications. This in-person exhibition will be juried by contemporary jewelry artist, Diane Falkenhagen.
