Calling all adventure seekers and space aficionados, it’s time to ascend on a first-of-its-kind immersive odyssey into Space. The highly-acclaimed exhibit will transport you on a journey as you roam freely inside a full-scale 3D replica of the International Space Station (ISS), float in space alongside the astronauts and admire breathtaking sights of Earth that only a handful have ever seen before — all without ever leaving the ground.
The experience is presented as a journey and lasts approximately 45 minutes (35 minutes of which are in VR). Guests will be wearing an Oculus Quest 2 VR headset.
Age Requirement:The experience is accessible to those who are 8 years of age or older. Children ages 8-12 will need a waiver signed by their parent/guardian before starting the experience. Children under the age of 8 will not be admitted, including little ones in baby carriers, as it is not recommended by VR manufacturers.
Tickets start at $25 for children, $45 for adults.

The Florida Trail Association Tropical Trekkers Chapter open there door to the public. We are having demonstrations and trying to inform and educate on what the chapter does on the Florida National Scenic Trail as well as all the events the chapter holds. From overnight camping trips, trail maintenance and guided hikes in some of our local preserves. The event should be posted on Meetup.

Author and Paranormal Investigator Larry Lawson will welcome guests at the Environmental Learning Center on Wednesday, June 12th, 4:00-6:00 PM, with an introductory talk about his paranormal work and the process of writing his recently published book “Haunted Indian River County”. Lawson’s first book is published by Arcadia Publishing and is a part of their Haunted America series.

Enjoy song and dance from Broadway musicals adapted from Shakespeare's works, such as West Side Story, The Lion King and Kiss Me, Kate—as well as scenes from the original Shakespearian plays upon which they're based. This exciting performance is a combination of our traditional summer cabarets and our Summer ShakesPierce program, bringing together IRSC Performing Arts students and select students from high schools in the four-county region. Rated PG

The Martin County Master Gardeners are getting ready to celebrate their 40th anniversary with one of their most popular signature events, “Taste of the Tropics”, on Saturday, June 15, 2024, 9am – 12pm, at the Martin County Fairgrounds, 2616 SE Dixie Hwy in Stuart. “Taste of the Tropics” is a FREE family friendly event with free parking. Information about growing tropical fruit in Martin County will be provided along with tropical fruit tastings. Fruit trees will be available for purchase, and a 10am panel of experts will be available to answer questions. This highly anticipated event showcases the tropical fruit that can be grown in Martin County. The public is encouraged to attend and sample a variety of unique fruits and view various fruit trees samples on extensive display tables, with Master Gardener Volunteers available to answer questions. Prior to the “Taste of the Tropics”, the public is invited to a FREE Library Lecture to learn about, “Growing Tropical Fruit in Martin County”, on Tuesday, June 4th at 6pm, at Blake Library, 2351 SE Monterey Rd in Stuart.
