During the months of June and July, Heathcote will host eight (8) Fridays as Summer Explore & More Days. Families with children ages 5-12 will REGISTER in advance at www.heathcotebotanicalgardens.org (click on the Explore & More icon) for their designated Friday(s) and in return, the garden admission will be free. Each Friday will have a specific theme accompanied by fun worksheets and or supplies for projects. Topics include Insects & Butterflies, Mind Your Surroundings, Garden Guru, Art, Pioneer Days, Orchid Bee, Oh My Bonsai, and a Scavenger Hunt. There will also be educators on standby for specific topics, questions, and answers. Attend one, two or even all Fridays for fun in this botanical wonder in the heart of Fort Pierce.

Families, friends, and all I have travel to different events in different counties around FL on a mission to find FREE services that can really help the whole family in house with different disabilities. There will be sensory activities, fabulous foam Party, balloon art, fairy hair, glitter tattoos, Kona ice truck, and much more. Plus we will have a raffle and the basket will be filled with gifts from every vendor.

Bring your bike and helmet for a fun bike ride around the path at Charles Park. There is also a playground to play on afterwards. Bring water and a snack and remember to apply sunscreen and bug spray!
This is a great way to see if scouting is for your family!Open to all area youth who will be starting kindergarten to sixth grade and their families.There is no cost to participate in any of these activities.

Summertime Pack Hike
Check out the local Cub Scouts and see if Scouting is a good fit for your family. We will hike an easy 2-mile path through the greenery to the lagoon. Bring water and a snack and remember to apply sunscreen and bug spray!
Open to all area youth who will be starting kindergarten to sixth grade and their families.There is no cost to participate in this activity.

Come Join the Tropical Trekkers the FTA chapter of Treasure Coast for a meet and greet @Ocean Republic Brewing. This event will be held August 8, 2024 from 6-8PM. Chapter members will be available to answer question and talk about the 70+ miles of 1500 miles of trail that they help maintain though the Florida National Scenic Trail. The chapter will have their calendar on hand of upcoming events for anyone who is interested in joining them. This will be a great opportunity to discover some of the community events the chapter hold.This is a fund raiser event. Ocean Republic will give 10% of the proceeds to the Tropical Trekkers. This donation will help maintain and preserve the trail. Any donations or volunteering is greatly encourage and appreciated. Please come meet some of these great folks and have a cold beer while doing so. Cheers!
