The Emerson Center proudly welcomes the U.S. Air Force Band of the West Brass Quintet for a special live performance that brings the spirit of service and the power of music together in one unforgettable event. This premier ensemble, composed of six highly accomplished Airmen Musicians, showcases the United States Air Force’s commitment to excellence through a dynamic and uplifting concert.
With a mission to connect military, veteran, and civilian audiences, the Brass Quintet performs an impressive repertoire that includes classical works, patriotic songs, jazz standards, and contemporary pieces. Their performance celebrates the courage and dedication of those who serve while uniting audiences through the universal language of music.
This exceptional concert is free of charge and open to the public. Advance registration is required to attend.

Poignant and pressing, THE JUST AND THE BLIND illuminates the unseen and under-heard experiences of incarcerated youth and the realities their families face. Spoken word artist and arts activist Marc Bamuthi Joseph (BAMUTHI) joins forces with long-time collaborator composer/violinist Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR) to explore themes of racial profiling, sentencing and the prison-industrial complex from the perspective of fathers of Black and Brown children.
