The $10M donation is earmarked for the hospital’s Strategic Priorities fund, which will accelerate the expansion of services and improve patient care

Vero Beach – March 17: Ron and Nancy Rosner have made a $10 million, multi-year pledge, to the Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital that will expand services for the community.

“We are deeply humbled by Ron and Nancy Rosner’s generosity and commitment to this community,” said Gregory Rosencrance, MD, President of Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital. “This gift will have a tremendous impact and improve the quality of life for residents of Indian River and St. Lucie counties. “We look forward to our partnership with the Rosner's as we bring our shared vision to reality.”

The Rosner's are longtime supporters of the Vero Beach hospital. Their donation has been earmarked for the hospital’s Strategic Priorities fund. The donation will accelerate the expansion of services and improve patient care initiatives, including continuing education programs for physicians, increasing healthcare access for community residents, and providing caregivers with the resources they need to enhance patient care for decades to come.

The gift will also support the hospital's ongoing efforts to make its medical education programs more inclusive and extensive by providing education programs focused on drug use among teens, and young adults, as well as outpatient behavioral health services for children, teens, adults and seniors.

In recognition of their generosity the Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital Health and Wellness Center will be renamed the Rosner Family Health and Wellness Center. The Health and Wellness Center currently houses the offices of more than 50 hospital physicians, including experts in such specialties as cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, neurology, infectious disease, orthopedics, urology, rheumatology, pulmonary medicine, primary care and endocrinology.

Ronald Rosner is the Founder and Chairman of the Rosner Automotive Group. He has dedicated 49 years of his life to pursuing and helping others. He and his wife Nancy are well known in Vero Beach for supporting a number of charitable causes over the years.

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital is a 322 bed hospital in Vero Beach. It is one of Cleveland Clinic’s five hospitals in Florida and part of the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, a nonprofit, multispecialty, academic medical center that integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education.
