Port St. Lucie-March 23, 2022: A 44 year old man died Tuesday night after his vehicle crashed into a home in Port St. Lucie.
At 9:01 pm police responded to the reported vehicle crash along the 700 Block of SW Jacoby Ave.
The 2-door vehicle was traveling east on SW Jacoby Ave when it veered off the roadway and crashed into the home, according to a release from the Port St. Lucie Police Department.
The Saint Lucie County Fire District rushed the driver to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. He has been identified as 44-year-old, Daniel Oliveira of Port St. Lucie.
There were 4 people in the house at the time of the crash. None of them were injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Traffic Homicide investigators.
