Treasure Coast - Friday April 15, 2022: The unemployment rate along the Treasure Coast fell to 2.8% in March, according to a report provided by Career Source Research.
That is 2.2% lower than a year ago when the jobless rate stood at 5%, and it is just 0.1% higher than the state average of 2.7%.
The number of employed workers along the Treasure Coast in March stood at 293,932, up 6,644, or +2.3%, over the year. Overall, the three counties recorded 8,319 unemployed residents during the month.
By county the jobless rate figures are:
* Martin County 2.3%
* Indian River County 3.0%
* St. Lucie County 3.0%
