Four appointed to the Board of Control for Southern Regional Education
Megan Crombie - Crombie, of Tallahassee, is a teacher and instructional specialist at Florida State University School. She was named Florida State University School and K-12 District Teacher of the Year and is a member of the Florida Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the Florida Lead Teacher Network. Crombie earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Central Florida, a master’s degree in special education from the University of South Florida, and a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of West Florida.
Arthur Keiser, PhD - Keiser, of Parkland, is the Chancellor and founder of Keiser University and Southeastern College. He serves as the current Chairman for the National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity and is a member of the Florida Council of 100, the Career College Association, and the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida. Keiser earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Tulane University, his master’s degree from the University of Florida, and his doctorate degree in higher education administration from Union Institute and University.
Representative Alex Rizo - Representative Rizo, of Hialeah, is an educator and small business owner. He currently represents District 110 in the Florida House of Representatives. Rizo earned his bachelor’s degree in biological science from Florida International University and his master’s degree in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
G. “Devin” Stephenson, PhD - Stephenson, of Niceville, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Northwest Florida State College. With over 30 years of experience, he is a current member of the Florida Delegation for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. Stephenson earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Birmingham Southern College, and his master’s and doctorate degrees in higher education administration from the University of Alabama.
James Brown appointed to the Gulf States Marine Fisheries Commission
James Brown - Brown, of Apalachicola, is the former Law Enforcement Division Director for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the former Sales Manager for Boston Whaler Boats. He is the recipient of the National Association of State Law Administrators Bonner Award. Brown is the current Chairman of the City of Apalachicola’s Battery Park Committee.

Gary Jennings appointed to the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission
Gary Jennings - Jennings, of Windermere, is the Director of Keep Florida Fishing for the American Sportfishing Association. He currently serves on the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and is also a member of the Florida Coastal Conservation Association, the Seaplane Pilots Association, and the Aircraft Pilots and Owners Association. Jennings earned his bachelor’s degree in human resource management and hospitality administration from Florida State University.

Kevin Rollin appointed to the Board of Optometry
Kevin Rollin - Rollin, of Sebastian, is a Partner at Napier and Rollin, PLLC. He currently serves on the Indian River County Environmental Control Hearing Board and is a member of the Vero Beach Rotary Club, the Indian River County Bar Association, and the Florida Academy of Collaborative Group. Rollin earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida Southern College and juris doctor from Mercer University.

Patrick Hogan appointed to the Board of Directors of Florida Achieving a Better Life Experience
Patrick Hogan - Hogan, of Land O’Lakes, is the Managing Shareholder of Hogan Legal Services, P.A. and works with Bay Area Legal Services. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Florida Institute of CPAs, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Hogan earned his bachelor’s degree in accountancy and a juris doctor from the University of Notre Dame.
