Florida - Wednesday May 25, 2022: As a mark of respect for the victims of the senseless act of violence perpetrated in Uvalde Texas on Tuesday May 24 where 19 children and 2 adults were shot down by a murderer at the Robb Elementary School, President Joseph Biden has directed all flags to be lowered to half-staff immediately.
Pursuant to the President's decision Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has directed that all the flags of the United States, and the State of Florida, will be flown at half-staff at all local and state buildings, installations, and grounds throughout Florida, effective immediately, until sunset on Saturday, May 28, 2022.
