The Martin County Memorial Day parade and ceremony will be held at the Stuart Memorial Park on Monday May 30 at 10 a.m.

Martin County - Friday May 27, 2022: The Martin County Memorial Day parade and ceremony will be held at the Stuart Memorial Park on Monday May 30 at 10 a.m.

Residents and visitors are invited to attend and remember and honor the fallen who gave their lives in defense of our nation, and to honor their families.

The ceremony will include a dedication recognizing Sgt. Thaddeus Dennis, a fallen soldier from Stuart who served in Vietnam as a United States Army 720th Military Policeman.

The parade is organized by Stuart Parades and a network of local, civic-minded groups, organizations and individuals, and is supported by the Martin County Board of County Commissioners and the City of Stuart.

This annual event is presented by the Veterans Council of Martin County, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the support and betterment of veterans, specifically those struggling with homelessness, disabilities and others in need of assistance.

Monday, May 30, 10 a.m. parade with a ceremony to follow

Parade: Begins at SE Georgia Avenue on East Ocean Boulevard and ends at Memorial Park, 300 SE Ocean Blvd., Stuart

Ceremony: Held at Memorial Park following the parade
