City of Fort Pierce Hosts Summer Community Cleanup SATURDAY

Registered volunteers may be provided with litter collection supplies such as trash bags, gloves, pickers, and buckets while supplies last. These items can be picked up from the Public Works Compound located at 52 Savannah Rd, Fort Pierce, FL 34982, on Friday, June 24, from 8 AM TO 3 PM, or Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 8 AM TO NOON.

Fort Pierce - Thursday June 23, 2022: The City of Fort Pierce Public Works Department is sponsoring the Summer Community Cleanup this Saturday, June 25.

To take part in the Summer Community Cleanup register on the City’s website at: https://www.cityoffortpierce.com/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=736 or contact Kaitlyn Ballard at: 772-467-3795 or kballard@cityoffortpierce.com.

The city will provide trash bags, gloves, pickers, and buckets to volunteers as long as supplies last. These items can be picked up from the Public Works Compound located at 52 Savannah Rd, Fort Pierce, FL 34982, on Friday, June 24, from 8 AM TO 3 PM, or Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 8 AM TO NOON.

Participants get to choose the times and the locations they wish to clean up. You and your group decide where, there will be no designated meet-up area.

This is a citywide event and individuals, families, and organizations are encouraged to sign up. Volunteers are encouraged to share their Community Cleanup experience by posting photos on social media and using the hashtags #lovethefort and #cleanthefort.
