Vero Beach - Friday July 1, 2022: Lightening is suspected as the cause of a roof fire that broke out as the Southwinds condo complex off A1A in VEro BEach last Thursday.
Indian River County Fire Rescue and the IRC Sheriff's Office responded. Condo residents were evacuated. No injuries were reported.
The State Fire Marshall has been called in to investigate.
