Stuart - Friday July 15, 2022: An 18 year old teenager was shot and killed Wednesday night in Stuart.
At 8:34 pm July 13, Stuart Police Detectives responded to a reported shooting in the 600 block of Southeast Tenth Street in east Stuart. On arrival they found a young man suffering from "gunshot wounds".

The teen was flown to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Chief's personal comments were prompted by what he called "untrue" social media posts about the shooting.
