More Than $77k in Unclaimed Funds Waiting to Be Claimed at St. Lucie Clerk’s Office

The amounts waiting to be claimed range from $.22 all the way up to $3,850.00 and can be easily viewed now on the Clerk’s website -https://www.stlucieclerk.com/.

Fort Pierce - Sunday August 7, 2022: – The St. Lucie County Clerk & Comptroller Michelle R. Miller urges citizens and businesses to check if they are among those owed $77,765.03 in unclaimed monies.

The amounts waiting to be claimed range from $.22 all the way up to $3,850.00 and can be easily viewed now on the Clerk’s website -https://www.stlucieclerk.com/.

“Our goal is to get these funds into the hands of the rightful owners.” Clerk Miller said. “This money has to potential to improve the lives of those owed, regardless of the amount.”

The monies owed include parties who are due restitution payments, refunds on cash bonds, and other various payments.

To see if you are owed unclaimed funds, search the list at www.stlucieclerk.com/unclaimed. Instructions on submitting a claim are available on the website, and after a request is validated, a new check will be mailed to the verified address. Completed claim forms must be postmarked on or before Aug. 31, 2022.

The Clerk’s office will issue a separate list of unclaimed funds for business activities connected to the St. Lucie County government in the spring.
