St. Lucie County - Monday August 8, 2022: Detectives with the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office arrested a father and son last week on multiple drug charges.

63 year old Edwin L. Thompson III and 31 year old Edwin L Thompson IV were booked into the St. Lucie County Jail Friday on charges of drug possession and the sale or delivery of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $120,750.

The pair were arrested after SLC detectives conducted a search warrant at a home near the 700 block of Aster Rd in Port St. Lucie.
Inside the residence detectives found the following:
• 44 pressed fentanyl pills
• 42 grams cocaine
• 92 grams Xanax
• 300 mg of Morphine
• 4 oxycodone pills
• 1 gram powder fentanyl
• 12 grams of press fentanyl pills
