Indian River County - Thursday August 11, 2022: The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot for the August 23 Primary Election in Indian River County is this Saturday, August 13 at 5 p.m.
Vote-By-Mail ballots may be requested online at VoteIndianRiver.gov or by phone or in person during business hours. Vote-By-Mail requests can be made for all elections through 2022.
More than 44,000 mail ballots have been delivered to voters with requests on file and 9,583 of those have already been voted and returned. If you are interested in checking the status of your vote-by-mail ballot, visit VoteIndianRiver.gov, under the “I Want To…” drop down menu.
“Voted ballots must be placed in the official ballot return envelope provided and the voter must sign the Voter’s Certificate on the envelope prior to returning your ballot,” Supervisor of Elections Leslie Swan said. “Voters have until 7 p.m. on Election Day (August 23) to return their voted mail ballot to our office.”
Secure ballot intake stations (formerly drop boxes) will be available at all early voting sites during voting hours and at the Supervisor of Elections office during business hours.
