Martin County - Thursday August 11, 2022: The last day that a Martin County voter can request to have a Vote-By-Mail ballot mailed to them is this Saturday, August 13.
Any registered voter in Martin County may vote by mail, no reason is required.
Only the elector, or if directly instructed by the elector, a member of his or her immediate family or legal guardian can request a Vote by Mail ballot for the voter. Immediate family means the elector’s spouse or the parent, child, grandparent, grandchild or sibling of the elector.
A request from an elector must include:
*Full name;
*The elector’s Martin County address;
*The elector’s date of birth;
*Last four digits of your social security number, your Florida driver license number or your Florida identification card number.
*The address where the ballot is to be sent;
*Election(s) requested;
*Signature (written request only)
In addition, if the elector has designated an immediate family member or legal guardian to request a Vote by Mail ballot, the designee must provide the following information:
*The designee’s full name
*The designee’s full address
*The designee’s last four digits of your social security number, your Florida driver license number or your Florida identification card number.
*The designee’s relationship to the elector
*The designee’s signature (written request only)
Vote by Mail ballots may be returned:
*In person at the Martin County Elections Center
*Drop boxes at early voting sites during early voting hours of operation or
*By mail
*All Vote by Mail ballots must be received at the Elections Office no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day
*NOTE: A Vote by Mail ballot cannot be voted and returned at a polling place.
