Port St. Lucie - Monday September 19, 2022 The Oxbow Eco-Center’s Little Acorns will return this fall with two sessions each Thursday, starting Thursday October 6.
Designed for families with children, 18 months to 5 years, these outdoor family play sessions will be offered on Thursdays for an hour at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
During each unique session, children and their caregivers will explore the nature surrounding the Oxbow and practice child-led play in an environment that fosters developmental skills. Sessions are hosted by an experienced childhood nature play leader and include stories, nature art, mud play, scavenger hunts, insect observations, wind play and more.
The cost per child is $8, per class. Pre-registration is required by calling the Oxbow Eco-Center as space is limited for this unique opportunity. Limited scholarships are available. Registration opens Sept. 6 for October through December classes, and Dec. 6 for January through May classes. To register for Little Acorns or for more information, contact the Oxbow at 772-785-5833, email oxbow@stlucieco.org or visit www.oxboweco.com.
