Martin County - Friday September 30, 2022: The Martin County Sheriff’s Rapid Response Team has been requested to assist in the State’s hardest hit areas near Lee County Florida.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is deploying at the request of the Florida Sheriff’s Association. The team left for the west coast.in anticipation of getting the call.
Martin County Sheriff William Snyder will join the fifteen specially trained deputies to begin mutual aid assistance in any capacity needed in areas that are reportedly devastated in the wake of Hurricane Ian.
The team will stay as long as necessary, and could rotate mission times with our second Rapid Response Team that will remain in Martin County.
