Fort Pierce Announces Availability of $400,000 for the Residential Rehabilitation Program

Fort Pierce - Sunday, October 9, 2022: The City of Fort Pierce’s Grants Administration announces the availability of $400,000 of State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) funds for the Residential Rehabilitation Program.

Funding will assist income-eligible applicants rehabilitate their homes. Qualified applicants must meet the income requirements and their homes must be within the Fort Pierce city limits.

Program applications will be available online beginning next week on Monday October 24th at 9 AM. On that day you can submit an application by going to the website: Additional program information and required documents needed for application submittal are available at:

Applications will be processed on a first-submitted, first-qualified, first-served basis, subject to funding availability. The application period will end once all funds have been expended.

ALL applicants are required to attend a Virtual Mandatory Orientation prior to application submittal. You can register for the virtual orientation now at: .

In-person orientation will be held on October 20 at 5:30 PM at the River Walk Center.

NOTE: Applications will not be reviewed if proof of orientation attendance is not provided.
