

Port St. Lucie - Friday November 4, 2022: A man found sleeping in a U-Haul at a Speedway gas station in Port St. Lucie at 3 a.m. Thursday morning was arrested by PSL police on multiple charges.
Officers found 44-year-old Grover Wills of Ft. Lauderdale asleep inside the UHAUL cab with the door open and engine running, according to a release from PSLPD.
Wills did not have a valid driver’s license, and inside a bag police say they found several driver licenses, social security and credit cards. They later learned that the cards, as well as the H-Haul, had all been reported stolen from various locations across south Florida. Officers also found a crack pipe and a baggie of cocaine inside the vehicle.
In the back cargo area were piles of cloths and other items where Willis was apparently living.
Wills was arrested and taken to the St. Lucie County Jail on charges of grand theft of a motor vehicle, unlawfully possessing 5 or more identifications, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer, and operating a vehicle without a valid license.
