Fort Pierce - Tuesday November 22, 2022: Waste collection schedules in Fort Pierce will be affected by the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
There will be no commercial services, residential garbage, recycling, or yard waste pickup on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 24. Regular Solid Waste collection will resume on Friday, November 25.
The revised collection schedule is as follows:
• Thursday - Residential garbage will be collected on Monday, November 28, 2022. Residential recycling and yard waste pickup with occur on the following Thursday.
• Thursday – Commercial garbage will not be collected. Collections will be completed earlier in the week.
• Friday - Residential garbage collection will experience no service interruptions.
• Friday – Commercial garbage will experience no service interruptions.
The City of Fort Pierce Administrative Offices will be closed on Thursday, November 24, and Friday, November 25 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
