Fort Pierce - Monday November 28, 2022: The City of Fort Pierce has extended the Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency (FPRA) Targeted Corridor Paint Program to include US Highway 1 between Georgia Avenue and Avenue O.

The purpose of this program is to brighten up and transform the US Highway 1 and Orange Avenue corridors. The Targeted Corridor Paint Program offers financial assistance in the form of a reimbursable grant of up to $1,000 toward the cost of exterior paint and paint supplies. The funds will be disbursed on a first-come, first-served basis. Limit one (1) grant award per property. The program is open now until December 22, 2022, at 3:00 PM.

To be eligible for this program the property must be located on one of the following corridors within the FPRA District:

  • Orange Avenue corridor (between 33rd Street and Melody Lane)
  • US Highway 1 corridor (between Georgia Avenue and Avenue O)
