St. Lucie County - Tuesday November 29, 2022: All southbound lanes of I-95 at miles marker 143 at Oslo Road in Indian River County were closed for a time Tuesday morning after two semi-tractor trailer trucks crashed shortly after 8 a.m.
The driver of one of the semi's had to be extracted, according to the Indian River County Sheriff's Office, and all southbound lanes were closed to allow for a helicopter to land and transport the injured driver to the hospital. His condition was not released.
I-95 south bound was shut down while the air transport was on scene. After it departed, one lane was opened until the accident scene was cleared.
